WAYS TO GET INVOLVED!
Currently, there is a civic assembly taking place to decide what the city will do with the land that formerly held the Hughes Stadium. Up until March 5th, surveys were accepted to hear what residents wanted to see
happen with the property.
Thanks for making your voice, your kids' voices, and your neighbors voices heard by taking the survey and spreading the word!

Help get more of the community engaged! Print and hang it at your school, place of business or gathering space!
After all of the information is collected from residents on March 5th, 20 delegates will hear the information presented and make a recommendation to the city council on what to do with the Hughes property. Delegates will be chosen by the city sending out 15,000 mailers to random Fort Collins addresses. WATCH YOUR MAIL!! If you receive a mailer, the future of Hughes could be in your hands!
Apply to be part of the Information Committee, a key part of the Civic Assembly process. The IC has three primary responsibilities:
1. Select presenters – background experts and relevant parties – and background information for the information-gathering phases of the Assembly.
2. Prioritize and categorize the resources to be shared with Assembly members.
3. Provide feedback for HD staff, as-needed, related to the IC process
A bike park is an amazing opportunity for local families, businesses, and the Fort Collins economy. Not only will this provide a space that gives our kids, and the community as a whole, a safe place to ride but it will also support local outdoor tourism, making FoCo an even more desirable location for top talent. Investing in recreation like this isn’t just good for our quality of life — it’s good business. Studies show that mountain bike infrastructure boosts local economies, attracts high-value employees, and increases home values.
